Sample & Job Tracking
Barcode/QR-based sample registration, chain-of-custody logging and end-to-end job status tracking from receipt to dispatch.
The Product
SPD stands for Standard Precision Delivered — the principle behind everything the platform does. Most laboratory software is built for general industrial or clinical use and then bent into shape for metallurgy testing. SPD LIMS is being developed the other way around — from the ground up, around real metallurgical workflows: tensile, hardness, impact, metallography, chemical composition and corrosion testing. It draws directly on our own experience running third-party inspections and laboratory consultancy assignments across India.
Standard Precision Delivered: built by inspectors, for laboratories — not adapted from generic industrial software.
What It Does
Barcode/QR-based sample registration, chain-of-custody logging and end-to-end job status tracking from receipt to dispatch.
Dedicated modules for tensile, hardness, impact, metallography, chemical composition, corrosion and NDT test workflows.
MTC and Certificate of Analysis generation with digital sign-off, templated formats and version-controlled reissue.
Built-in ASTM, ISO, ASME and API acceptance criteria with automatic pass/fail flagging against client and project specs.
Measurement uncertainty calculations, equipment calibration tracking, audit trails and corrective action logs.
Turnaround-time tracking, lab workload visibility and non-conformance trend reporting for lab managers.
Clients log in to track job status and download certified reports directly, without waiting on email.
Tamper-evident records, full version history and role-based access control for every user and lab.
